Back from Vegas!

I got back yesterday morning from the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) conference in Las Vegas. Other than having to leave the hotel at 4:30am on my way home, the trip was awesome. Three days is definitely not enough time to experience Vegas, especially not with so many other great photographers to meet.

It was fantastic hearing some of my photographic heroes like Joe Buissink speak, along with dozens of other top-notch wedding/portrait shooters. Hearing people at the top of their game speak is a perfect chance to take different things into consideration and refine my own skills and style.

I 'd have to say that one of my favorite highlights was getting a ride on Shannon's Harley. I've riden my share of dirt bikes and street bikes, but riding a Harley with the Lucky Red Hen is a way cooler experience :)

On one of the nights, a few photographers took some amazing couples on a bridal fashion shoot out on and around The Strip. Thanks a ton to Jason Groupp, Chris + Lynn, and TJ Cameron for organizing the shoot!

Great hanging with you Ryan! Maybe in 2 or 3 more days I will be fully recovered :)
These shots are great, I love your use of buildings as graphical elements!

Ryan those ROCK! Did you crop the Bally's sign like that on purpose (without the B)? Clever boy.

I'm glad I could be a highlight of your trip. The Harley was happy to have you :o)
