I love Pend Oreille! Spent a lot of time there as a kid... where on the lake did you go?
i forget exactly where, but you could see Schweitzer from where we stayed. i know it was a bit outside of East Hope, ID. cool place, for sure!
there's nothing more refreshing and mind expanding than a road trip from oregon or washington...to idaho. the scenery on the way there is constantly changing...gorgeous. i just love it. it's a good one to take solo as well. gives you time to think...your mind opens wide.
my 2nd most favorite lake in north america. it's AHHHmazing!
